RDARR (Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting) Senior Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks
1. Accountability for BCBS 239 / RDARR Compliance (1LoD)
- Full 1LoD ownership of RDARR principles, including
- Ownership of Ambition Level, Standards aligned to Policy and RDARR Governance
- RDARR Guardrails for Architecture & Infrastructure
- Data quality and Data lineage
- Aggregation capabilities and Reporting controls.
- Ensure RDARR is embedded in BAU, not a parallel compliance process
- Sign off (or provide accountable input into) RDARR self‑assessments, ECB follow‑up actions and remediation evidence packs
- Understand and assure risk data flows from source to report (Front‑office systems, Reference and counterparty data, Finance / GL integration)
- Ensure clear data ownership and stewardship in 1LoD, robust data models aligned to risk taxonomy and sustainable aggregation (no manual “bridges” or Excel fixes)
3. Data Quality & Controls (1LoD)
- Ensure the implementation of preventive and detective controls (input, reconciliation and change controls)over risk data
- Ensure embedment of ownership of 1LoD data quality KPIs, thresholds and remediation
- Ensure issues are logged, root‑caused and fixed structurally (not repeatedly waived)
4. Architecture & Change
- Act as business owner for RDARR‑relevant architecture
- Work with Data / Technology / Transformation to ensure strategic data platforms are used and tactical solutions are time‑bound and exited
- Key role in core banking / risk platform transformations and data warehouse programs
5. Regulatory Engagement & Inspections
- Primary 1LoD interlocutor for ECB JST deep dives on RDARR, On‑site inspections (OSI) and horizontal reviews
- Able to explain architecture, data flows and controls without escalation and demonstrate management ownership
6. Remediation Leadership
- Own RDARR remediation plans in 1LoD with clear actions, realistic timelines and management sponsorship
- Track delivery and effectiveness and prevents “endless remediation cycles”
- Monitoring data quality, governance and validity
- Management of data-driven decisions and initiatives
Your knowledge/experience
- Substantial practical experience in Risk management, Finance data, Regulatory programmes, Large‑scale data transformations
- Hands‑on exposure to ECB supervision or SREP, BCBS 239 remediation, OSIs or TRIM‑like reviews
- Strong understanding of Risk types (credit, market, liquidity, IRRBB), Data architecture & data lineage, Aggregation logic and reconciliations
- Ability to operate across Business, Risk, Finance, IT
- Resilient under regulatory challenge
- Credible senior counterpart to ECB/JST
- Very good understanding of data governance and control
- Promotion of data literacy in the organization
- Structured, evidence‑driven communicator
