(Senior) Sales Manager – AI for Manufacturing & Industrials (m/f/d)

As part of the AI startup incubator Merantix Studio, we have established successful medical imaging and autonomous driving ventures and continue to develop innovative deep-learning products and client-specific solutions across diverse sectors.
Manufacturing companies are under pressure to move fast on AI – and most don't know where to start. Your job is to be the trusted bridge: understanding where a client's real operational pain sits, and working with our technical team to design solutions that actually deliver. You'll own relationships across Mittelstand and enterprise clients, from the first conversation to delivery handover and beyond. We already have reference engagements in the sector – you build on that foundation and take it further.
Your role
- Build strategic customer relationships: You identify and develop relationships with industrial and manufacturing customers who can benefit from AI, positioning Merantix Momentum as a trusted partner to decision-makers.
- Consultative selling: You deeply understand your customers' operational bottlenecks and strategic goals and show how our AI technologies create real business value.
- Become a trusted advisor: You build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and navigate complex enterprise environments with confidence.
- Co-create solutions: You work closely with our team of AI researchers, data scientists and engineers to shape tailored solutions.
- Proposals & commercial ownership: You craft compelling proposals and commercial offerings that clearly convey the value of our solutions.
- Grow accounts: You accompany customers across the entire engagement, ensure strong delivery collaboration, and identify opportunities for follow-on projects and strategic account growth.
Your profile
- Several years of experience (ideally 5+) in sales, account management, consulting or business development – preferably in a B2B context
- Experience in consultative, solution-oriented selling of complex deals
- Understanding of industrial organizations and their transformation challenges; an existing network in the industrial sector is a plus
- Business-fluent German (min. B2) and English – you move confidently between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership mentality and strong relationship-building skills
- Genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies and digital transformation
